We have used Folio tissue microarrays to investigate the protein expression of a number of marker genes associated with cancer. We have been using Folio Biosciences slides extensively as a screening tool for gene expression studies, to validate microarray data. The quality of the slides is high, and we have obtained good results with both immunofluorecence and in situ hybridization analyses. |

Our research and development group has spent significant time, money and effort trying to find a reliable source of high-quality human tissues for product validation. Folio Biosciences was able to provide us with a variety of fresh, frozen human tissues that met or exceeded our expectations. Samples prepared from these tissues showed no signs of degradation and are actively being used for product validation. Similar samples from other companies have been found to be low quality or too dilute for our purposes and not worth the expense. We have been very happy with the service and samples provided by Folio Bioscience. |
